Gwynt Glas Signs Agreement for Lease with The Crown Estate

DP Energy congratulates the Gwynt Glass Floating Offshore Wind Farm on signing an Agreement for Lease (AFL) with The Crown Estate, marking a significant milestone for the project.

Following the project selection as a preferred bidder in June 2025, the agreement for lease allows Gwynt Glas to progress into the development phase, brining delivery of up to 1.5GW of clean, renewable energy a step closer.

Initiated by DP Energy in 2020 and now a joint venture between EDF Renewables and ESB, Gwynt Glas is one of the world’s largest planned floating offshore wind farms.
